华龙网讯 重庆长寿区计划用5年时间，打造一座产值3000亿元的“重化工城”。据悉，“十二五”期间，该区将以经济技术开发区为核心平台，依托化工、钢铁、新材料、装备制造、电子信息五大产业集群，力争建成3000亿级的重化工特色开发区。

 “十二五”期间，长寿工业将以长寿经开区为核心平台，优化开发区产业功能布局，提升发展化工、钢铁两大优势产业，加快培育新材料、装备制造、电子信息三大新兴产业，形成“2+3”工业体系。其中，建设世界级化工基地尤为引人注意。

据悉，到“十二五”末，全市工业总产值将达到25000亿元左右，而长寿将“十二五”规划目标定为：工业总产值突破2000亿元，力争3000亿元。届时，长寿工业总量将占全市总量的10%，成为名副其实的工业高地。

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) Changshou District of Chongqing plans to set up a 300-billion-yuan “heavy chemical industry city” in five years, a featured development area of heavy industry centered in Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone and supported by five industrial clusters of chemical industry, iron & steel, new materials, equipment manufacturing and electronic information.

During the 12^th Five-Year Plan, Changshou will optimize its industrial function layout and form a “2+3” system through advancing chemical and  iron & steel industries and fostering emerging industries of new materials, equipment manufacturing and electronic information, including the most eye-catching world-class base of chemical industry.

It is estimated that the gross value of Chongqing’s industrial output will reach up to about 2.5 trillion yuan by the end of 12^th Five-Year Plan, and Changshou sets its planning targets at exceeding 200 billion yuan and striving for 300 billion yuan in total value of industrial output.
